Hey Dungeon Masters! This is an easy drop-in DnD puzzle encounter designed just for you.
I designed this set as an easy drop-in puzzle encounter for any fantasy-themed setting. Take these three guardian totems and a stone archway portal and drop them into a forest grove or hidden clearing and you'll immediately have an interesting magical entrance puzzle. Players have to figure out how to earn passage through the portal. This encounter really lets your players experiment with different solutions and there is no single right answer.
I wrote this encounter with 5th Edition rules in mind, with simple stat blocks for each guardian spirit, but the puzzle mechanics translate easily to any system you're running. Get a free downloadable copy of the encounter from our website at boardgameboss.com.
